Trip to the Sainsbury's Centre

Today Whales Class went on a very exciting trip to the Sainsbury's Centre Art Gallery. We went there because in our 'Power of Reading' book Claude, the main character, went on a trip to the city and went to a gallery himself.

While we were there we did lots of different activities. We went on an outdoor sculpture trail and saw some amazing sculptures. We looked around the art gallery for different pieces of art such as 'Bucket Man' 'Llama effigy' and 'Walking Hippopotamus' They were all wonderful pieces of art to look at. We did some fantastic sketches. We were also gallery detectives finding out lots of important information about the Sainsbury's Centre so we can make our own leaflet about it after the holidays.

We all had a lovely day and Mrs Brooks said we were brilliantly behaved!
